| Bangladesh cricketers has donated their Salaries |
Big stars from around the world have come forward to prevent coronavirus infection. Many stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi Shaheed Afridi, doing financial aid.The Sri Lankan Cricket Board is also assisting their government in the fight against Corona. Bangladesh cricketers are not lagging behind in this fight.
The fund has been made into a list of 27 people, with 17 more players remaining in the central contract, with a further 10 in the Zimbabwe series. They are paying half of the salary there.
Half of their Salaries have so far raised Tk 31 lakh. If the tax is deducted, that amount will Tk 26 lakh. Besides, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is joining the initiative of cricketers.
BCB Media Committee Chairman Jalal Yunus said, “Bangladesh cricketers have taken a great initiative. They stand beside the corona Infected people. Out of the cricketers contracted with the board, ten more are donating half of their salary. The board will also make financial donations with the cricketers. ”
Bangladeshi cricketers will give half of the March salary to the Corona Fund. Out of the contract, those cricketers who have played regular international matches in the last three months will also donate 50% of their earnings.
Shakib Al Hasan's name is not on the list because of the ban. He will help in another way.
One of the key entrepreneurs in the fundraising is Tamim Iqbal. He said, 'Maybe not a big amount, but we're trying to do it ourself. If everyone tries to do so, no matter how small or large, if everyone fights together, then it is possible to lose the coronavirus.'
