President of the US President Donald J. Trump on the occasion of 49th Independence Day of Bangladesh, greeted Abdul Hameed and the people of Bangladesh.
Trump wishes sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
In a message to President Hamid, Miller said: "I am greatly honoured to share this message commemorating Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birthday centennial and the 2021 Golden Jubilee. For decades, the United States has been a proud partner in Bangladesh' s development success and we look forward to the years to come."He said that though unfortunate circumstances are preventing them from celebrating these momentous occasions together personally, "please accept our fullest and most sincere congratulations on Bangladesh's independence".
US President Trump praised Bangladesh's generosity in providing shelter to more than 10 million Rohingya refugees and promised to continue assisting in the crisis as a leading international donor.
Mentioning the United States as a key partner during this transformation, he said: "I am proud our economies have delivered prosperity to both of our peoples."
