Bangladesh Bank has given additional benefits to mobile banking to reduce cash transactions due to the corona virus alert. The monthly transaction limit for individual to person accounts has now been increased to Tk 2 lakh in mobile financial services or MFS like Bikash, Rocket, Cash. Earlier it was 75 thousand tk. Besides, no charge will be deducted if you cash out tk 1000.
No charge for buying product through debit and credit card.
Besides, no charges will be deducted till the specified amount for the purchase of products and medicines through debit and credit card. A maximum of 15 thousand taka a day and Tk 1 lakh per month can be purchased . If the figure is higher then the charge will be deducted.
Bangladesh Bank issue a circular.
Such a circular has issued from Bangladesh Bank on Thursday (March 19). Which has been sent to all the bank's managing directors as well as MFS service providers and all types of payment service providers. The circular has been asked to comply with the government-sanctioned hygiene, including regular placement of clean and hand sanitizer at the place of transaction -m Bank, ATM, POS and Agent Point.
